It's just days like this when I feel that being an Auror is not all that it's cracked up to be. People give you shit when they don't see the results in a day, you can't stop these kidnappings from happening.
What is the bloody POINT?
Is this really the sort of situation I want my child to grow up in? No. Maybe I should resign. Maybe I should move to a different country.
But mostly I just want to find those bloody assholes and beat them senseless.

Wonder if this is all it needs to inspire confidence in all other Aurors. I, myself, am not going to have any problem with using the Unforgivables, if the time comes for it. As a last resort, of course.

For those who missed the defense classes last month (and last night), there will be two more this week -- one on Wednesday and one on Friday. I'll be helping out on Friday, so I advise you all to show up, just for some practice.
WARDED TO SELFWell, at least one was caught. But what does that mean for the rest of them? I don't feel any less agitated about the kinds of shit the rest of the vigilantes are doing. Why wasn't an Order member caught?
It's only a matter of time, I know it is. I just hope it's sooner, rather than later. This past decade has been terrible, and I certainly don't want it to go on for another decade.
Let's see what sorts of information Lestrange is willing to give up. If any.

WARDED TO FRIENDSNot sure what all of you know or don't, but apparently there was some sort of message from You-Know-Who. I didn't hear it myself because I wasn't at the Ministry or Diagon Alley when it happened, but the response from people doesn't seem like it was anything pleasant to hear. The general gist of the message was that You-Know-Who wants Minister Bagnold to resign, and if she doesn't, something will happen in the next 24 hours. I've been told to help the public remain safe and calm, which is why I'm at Diagon right now. The DMLE is on high security for the next few days, so I sincerely urge all of you to stay at home, or otherwise with a few other people. This isn't a joke or something to take lightly.

Basically, Doris is pregnant. So we have been seeing each other, and just got around to telling our parents, which is why I hadn't told very many people about the situation. I would sincerely appreciate it if you got your negative comments out of the way right now so I don't have to deal with it later.

I think a primary school student just stole 10 pounds from me. See, a few months ago, this little girl knocked on my door and said she was selling some baked goods for some school-related activity. I was all about supporting her (and also getting my oatmeal raisin biscuits) so I said, what the hell, why not. I thought it was a good deal, really! This girl said that the biscuits would be delivered by mid-February, and it's March now.
I had honestly forgotten about this, with everything else I've been focusing on, until I was on my way home from getting groceries. I was sure it was the same little girl that was riding a bicycle, so I asked about my biscuits. She said she had no idea what I was talking about and that she had never gone around to sell baked goods.

WARDED TO THE DMLESomeone brought up an idea to me, which I thought was worth looking into. Would it be too far-fetched to teach some basic defense skills to the public in a couple of classes? Or it could be recurring thing, weekly once or something like that.
Would anyone be interested in helping with this, though? I realise that it may be a bit much to ask, considering how much is on our plates at the moment, but on the long run, I think it would be helpful.
